  14. I would like to have my US Robotics Sportster V.34 modem "tell" me when
  15. I get call waiting.

  17. On an older modem I had, if I left call waiting enabled I would hear the
  18. modem speaker come on and re-train whenever it got a call waiting beep. This
  19. was a convenient signal that someone was trying to call and I should get off
  20. the line.

  22. The US Robotics is so good at error correction that even with call waiting
  23. enabled, I never know when call waiting happens.

  25. Is there any way to have the modem "tell me" when there is a call waiting beep,
  26. such as enabling the speaker when the modem is forced to re-train?
